Yes that's right. They rolled out a new system, which is still in process. They didn't just change everyone at the same time.
I got the notice when I tried to list something last Month. Now they are going to direct transactions through a checking account. Since I don't want eBay on my personal account and I don't want the deposits on the business account, I found a local bank that has a "free" checking, and no fees at all. Deposited $100 and I have an account that's only for FeeBay.

So while they hand out the soft soap and benefits, I don't see much being better in any way and they are going to pick up the fees, so we probably won't see any savings.
