Ok, peeps. Here are the pics. I have to confess. I took a couple of pictures at the wrong locations (wrong ends of the block, wrong side of the street, and wrong chip for the location). If you look close, you'll see that there's a couple that are photoshopped, BUT the chips you see are in fact, at the very locations the casinos once were (or still are). I also created a few "want ads" for chips I don't have, in case any of you have them and wish to assist me in completing my photo essay. I'm going to try and put a caption ABOVE each picture because of the way this form formats pictures (large). I feel its easier if you see what you're about to look at, rather than looking at a pic and having to scroll down to see what it's about. I'm also going to try and put them in the order of my rambling story in case you want to open 2 tabs/windows and read along in one while scrolling through the pics in the other. My narration from day 3 will hopefully follow this post this evening. Shouldn't be too lengthy. Thanks for putting up with me on this project, particularly the delays in reporting.
Fireside Inn, 955 N. McGill Hwy, Ely NV

Copper Club, 672 Aultman St, Ely NV
Hotel Nevada, 501 Aultman St, Ely NV (image cut/paste because I took original pic with Bank Club chip)
Longhorn Saloon (no chip), 605 Aultman St, Ely NV
Jailhouse Casino, 211 5th St, Ely NV (lobby is in building behind building shown. Pic taken at 504 Aultman St, Ely NV)
The Chief, TCR says 480 Aultman St, but 480 doesn't exist (today), so probably 484 Aultman, Ely NV, which is the address listed for Mr. Gino's Restaurant & Bar
Bank Club, 448 Aultman St, Ely NV (first of 3 casinos at this location)
Town Club, 448 Aultman St, Ely NV (second of 3)
Alpine Club, 448 Aultman St, Ely NV (third of 3, but no chip!)
The Pit, 398 Aultman St, Ely NV (building is currently numbered "392" but google maps shows only "390" for this location)
Ace of Clubs, 390 Aultman St, Ely NV (since there's no actual building with a "390" on it, I assume it's the empty lot, but google maps says building on corner is 390. Either way, I gots no chip!)
Northern Lounge, 401 Aultman St, Ely NV
Mustang Club, 489 Aultman St, Ely NV (First of 3 casinos at this location)
Saddle Club, 489 Aultman St, Ely NV (Second of 3)
Winners Circle, 489 Aultman St, Ely NV (Third of 3, this chip edited in because I took chip photo in wrong location)
Chris' Lounge, 493 Aultman St, Ely NV (this is one of my latest acquisitions, courtesy of Chip Chat #51, actually, so got it just in time for this trip)
Capitol Club (and possibly Capitol Buffet, but don't have a chip for the Buffet), 672 Aultman St, Ely NV
Collins Court Casino, 612 Aultman St, Ely NV
Stray Antlers Elks Club. Chip probably not used here. Belongs in McGill NV, but I couldn't pinpoint a location there, so this is a proxy pic, but not unreasonable since it appears "Stray Elks" from McGill may have been Elked in at this location. Note my dubious look.
Great Basin Casino, The "Y" aka Major's Junction, Baker NV
Outbuilding at Great Basin Casino, Baker NV
Creepy Stairwell behind Great Basin Casino that leads to underground cinderblock storage room, covered by now-rotted plywood and dirt. Has shelves, a couple of chairs, some plumbing (water pipes, not sewer). Possibly a root cellar? No secret entrance to casino that I could see. Yes, I went inside and have pics, but too many to share here, so this is the only one you get until Oscar Lappalainen does a YouTube video on the joint.
Inside the dilapidated Great Basin Casino, Baker NV. Roof falling in. Slot machines all smashed up (people looking for money), kitchen with baking items still on shelves, bookwork/paperwork, appliances, black trash bags filled with ???. I was told by locals that this has been abandoned for 25 years or so. Sounds about right.
Nice touch in the men's bathroom at the Great Basin Casino. For the record, I didn't "take one" in any context you can think of.
Look at that beautiful slot glass, wouldja? I probably would have snaked a few except I was flying back from Denver with no easy way to pack and transport such stolen goods.
Back in the days when a 911 call couldn't automatically tell dispatch where exactly you were being murdered...
Border Inn, 39.05678225266296, -114.04917313550267, Baker NV
An actual working pay phone at the Border Inn (at least I assume it works)
Me, totally hitting the jackpot and clearing a 20% profit (don't tell the IRS). Made the (bored?) attendants pay me off since these machines don't have TITOs and apparently can't hold 600 pennies (I was kinda hoping to collect some copper).
Proof...
All of the chips I brought with me, plus a few I was given in Eureka by the owner of the Owl Club, plus a "Frisco Club" chip since I knew I was going to be passing through Frisco, CO (more on that tomorrow)
