After the convention Cindy and I are spending Saturday night in Laughlin. Like most casinos the room rates are pretty stiff on Saturday night. I got a reservation at Harrahs for $100 but just ran into a New Pioneer offer at $44 per night. We don't mind staying in just "average" places (especially for one night) but we are wondering if anyone has a comment on the Pioneers rooms? The reviews range from great to horrible but I did not find any recent bad reviews that would keep us away. Also how is the casino? So has anyone stayed there? Comments?
