My favorite memory of the Dune's was when a group of about 8 of us were at the Oasis and the all girl band was on stage and started selecting "nerds" from the crowd to come up on stage and perorm with them in a line dance on stage. I was sitting at the table with my walking shorts on and knobby knees thinking "don't pick me" and of course they headed right to my table grabbed me by the hand and led me to the stage. When they had selected 4 or 5 of us they ask us our names. I didn't want to give them my name so I said "BOB" and that's how I got the nickname "Nevada Bob|". And that was my 15 seconds of fame. (I think I did a pretty good job of dancing at the Oasis.)

That is also where we learned to "juke" people. That is another story.
