We're going back in time to another "pioneer" of the Las Vegas Strip. Today we talk about the Dunes which was located in Las Vegas from the years of 1955 until 1993. It was known for it's Arabian Desert theme featuring the giant sultan outside of the casino. Although the first couple of months it was open were pretty rocky, a change of ownership made it possible for the Dunes to rise to the top. You were able to find all kinds of different shows and celebrities visiting and hanging around there over the years as well.
