Barry, it sounds like you have a splendid trip planned. Since it sounds like you will be getting to Blackhawk and Central City on a week day you might want to check with Eric Miller to see that the casinos you plan to visit are open. Covid and weather may have some closed mid week due to lack of customers. Myself, I really love both of those towns. Old school for sure in looks. Parking could be a nightmare and you may need to plan to use the shuttle bus there. It's a easy short ride around on it.
