Was just looking at Vegas hotels in Las Vegas for the 3rd week in June and if you are looking to save money and want to stay at the host hotel, you may want to book through the room block for the weekdays and book on any other site for Friday and Saturday nights.

Every single site I looked at had cheaper South Point weekend rates than the ‘special’ rates that were negotiated for the convention..$16 to $36 cheaper, per night.
