an endorsement FOR one candidate is not an "advertisement AGAINST" the other candidate. There are two candidates vying for the office of the President of this CCGTCC. Just because someone chooses to endorse one candidate, that does not mean that the other candidate is considered bad. If someone offers you steak OR lobster for dinner and you only get one choice, you have to choose the one that you want. Doesn't mean that the other is bad or that you don't like it, you just have to make a choice.
