For me.

I was a 15+ year member (R-4704). Never missed a convention, always volunteered at every convention. About 4 years ago there was a similar smear campaign going on for an election involving the vice-presidency of the club. The "powers to be" were almost tripping over each other to be the first in line to endorse the candidate they decided should be in that office. There was even a full page ad in the club magazine with many "respected members", including all BOD members, proclaiming their support for the candidate THEY WANTED in that position. This current situation over the presidency seems to be deja vu all over again - maybe worse. I left the club over that situation
and if I were still a member, I would leave again. I think the actions of all involved in this "Coup" are shameful and disgusting.
