Being a member of the club has other advantages such as the ethics clause. There is not another hobby where someone wants to buy something from me and I will ship it to any member before receiving payment since I know the bill will be paid. Also other advantages such a being able to attend the club auction at the convention. Many have free contests here only for club members. The list goes on and on. Plus having as many members of the club as possible gives the club some clout when it comes to trying to improve the hobby. If you were a casino trying to decide if you wanted to give the MOGH some free space for a chip museum would you rather there be 500 or 1500 members in that club? Try to think of the good that the club does and ignore the occasional disputes.
