Well put. I was so happy that there was an organization for my newfound hobby that I tried to become a life member last year, not knowing there were longevity requirements before being eligible for that. Oops.

I suppose there's some comfort in knowing this isn't the first time for this type of upheaval, but it's still not going to play well in parts of Peoria.
