Websites are no longer being written to for Internet Explorer since Microsoft replaced it with Edge. You will find compatibility issues as time goes on.

Is there a reason you won't change browsers?

I would recommend against Firefox, which seems to need daily security updates (probably because it is open-source and therefore easier to hack).

Chrome is notorious for spying, but it is efficient

I always have a second browser ready (I actually have all three I mentioned) since some websites won't do all functions on all browsers (rare, but it happens), so sometimes I have to switch to Edge of Firefox to finish a task
