I concur with everything you said. Regardless of the "people speak their minds here" note in the FAQ says, the focus and SOLE purpose most of us come here for is chip discussions. I suggested some time back that at the very least, this forum should have multiple categories so that if people want to discuss politics, they could feel free to do that in the virtual rubber room where it (and they?) belongs.

Now, as to you being on your way out in this hobby... I, for one, can't thank you enough for getting the hell out. As my closest chipping neighbor (you're a 1/2mi away, maybe?), your collection has provided me with several chips to check off of my checklist, so just know that YOUR past efforts are bringing ME current enjoyment, and hopefully the fruits of my working labor have provided you with sufficient cash to have made you happy to let those chips go. Someday, I'll tire of this madness and attempt to pass my collection on to my kids, and when they inevitably turn their nose up at the suggestion, I hope my chips (and therefore your chips) find new homes to be appreciated in.

In the meantime, when you're ready to unload that sweet slot machine...
