I have known Monte and Kay for many, many years and they are truly nice people. They would stop by my Table at every Convention to see what I had for them. Monte had a wry sense of humor and loved to "Horse Trade" and Haggle" - such Great Fun for both of us.
I stopped by Monte and Kay's home in Fairview Heights, IL on one of my cross country trips a few years ago. They were gracious hosts and Monte showed me his many collectibles including - St. Louis Cardinals Bobble Head Dolls, Coca-Cola Advertising bottles and of course his many Casino Chips and other collectibles. He had "Stuff" in every room of the house and it was fun to see it all.
I certainly will miss seeing my old friend Monte at the Conventions.
My sincere condolences to Kay and Monte's family.
