Most hotels are dark.
Very few cars on the street.
Many HPD cruiser cars and police walking about.
Only 10% of the Japan tourist normally arriving.
All bars are lockdown closed!
I have not dine-in at a restaurant since January.
Now at 70 years old, my turn to take the CV vaccination should be middle of next month.
So many businesses in my Hawaii have closed for ever!
I do not think we will ever recover and go back to the booming tourist biz.
Many of my younger friends have gone "dark".
They are no where to be found.
I hope they are safe.
Crime is up, car break ins, day time purse snatchings, home invasions, road rage, and homeless fights are up.
Oh well, all we can do is stay safe, wait our turn to take the Pfizer or Moderma vaccinations.
But getting back to normal...is a big?????
