WHO said they have new chips on the tables? Was that you, Kappie?

The new chips are coming from China, according to the Pit Boss. On the slow boat, that has to stop at the tariff booths floating on the ocean.

In the meantime the tribe is still using those ancient $1 and $5 chips showing Mount Tom, although the chips appear to have been cleaned up a bit. I brought back two of the "lighter mountain" view, Bishop, CA written in white; and four of the "dark mountain" with Bishop CA in yellow. If anyone wants one of those let me know. The dealer was most amused that I was buying 24 of his old chips (which I eventually turned back in to the cage). Yes, there is a Grand Opening $5 chip and I will contact those people who indicated they wanted one (or two).

There is also a "new" 50-¢ chip on the tables, but it still reads "Paiute Palace Casino." It's an Icon chip. Since the Wanaaha chip order shows an "arrowhead" fractional, these must be a temporary issue that has not yet been reported to ChipGuide.

My camera is somewhere inside Cat Trac Truck but I will find it tomorrow morning and take a scan of the chips. You have no idea where a lifted Tacoma truck can hide a camera during a long trip!

So let me know, all of you who wanted a 50¢ chip, if you want the Paiute Palace fractional instead.

I have no plans to return there in the near future.
