Researching these two CHIPCO sample chips I purchased from Mitch Heller, and want to submit them to the Chip Guide. I have determined by the telephone number that the use of (44) as a preface to a string of numbers will allow the caller to connect from outside the United Kingdom. Thus the phone number on the chip is (44) 449 0077. The second number is labeled FAX (44) 0181 449 7217. The mystery is the Eurocoin logo with the phrase, Products Distributed BY:" under the Chipco logo. Reverse has "CHIPPER 2000" the telephone number connects to a phone in the United Kingdom. Does anyone know Eurocoin's involvement with chips? Was Eurocoin an agent to distribute euro marked casino chips? Remember, the Euro made its debut Jan. 1, 1999 with the issuance of 8 coins from 1cent to 2 euros. These sample chips are well crafted with a smart looking band around the chip. So, are they Chipco Samples for sales in the European Union? Thanks Mitch for selling them to me, and I will get them posted to the Chip Guide if we can obtain more information.
