I have never seen a machine like that before but for a foreign made machine that is not unusual. I have one machine that uses German 10 pfennig coins. I had to go on ebay and buy a handful just to be able to test it. Most foreign machines do not bring a lot of money - normally a few hundred dollars at most. And if they are electric you really can't plug them into our outlets or they could burn out since either the voltage or number of cycles do not match. Your machine does look like it needs a serious cleaning.
