The bottom tray that you've shown always makes me smile!
We were on vacation and I'd bought a book that gave the locations of flea markets, swap meets, antique shows, etc. There was a flea market in Victorville, CA that was pretty close to our route, so we decided to check it out. We were there early in the morning, and some of the vendors were still setting up.
It was probably about 1995, and we were still in our first year or two of collecting casino ashtrays...which is what started our collection. Anyway...we were walking past a table that had the flared Aladdin ashtray, with the dancing girl. We didn't have that one so we stopped to ask the price on it. The dealer said if we were interested in casino ashtrays he had a tote full of them and we could check it out! How much...$2 each!! We were like two kids in a candy shop!! Now I don't remember how many we bought, but I think it was between 25-30. I seem to remember that we paid the dealer $50. One of the trays that we bought was the Frank Sinatra Cal Neva, and we got the thin glass Stardust ashtray, and at the moment I don't remember what other ones we got. Whenever I think about that find I wonder what beauties we left behind...because we were too new to know what the "good" trays were!
