We were sitting and reading the newspaper this morning when we heard a loud explosion and the house shook. Cindy thought that someone hit a telephone pole outside but I told her that it was an explosion and that she should check her feed from the local police. She posted something on the neighborhood Facebook page and one of the neighbors replied about an explosion in Nashville. To give you an idea how how powerful it was - we are 30 miles away from the area of the explosion. The explosion is less than a block from bars where my daughter used to work and within block or two from where she now works. Fortunately it sounds like no one was killed. My bet is that it was a strike against ATT since the van was right outside that building. They just announced that the airport is going into high risk mode and that all of the 911 services in the surrounding counties does not work.
