I remember the Million Dollar casino well. You had to pay an admission fee to get in-$2.50 I think.
You got a stack of washers to play in an eight reel machine which paid a $250,000 jackpot. (Fat chance)
If you won, the machine paid 25 10,000 chips. There was no live gaming. Gaming control shut down the
machine after nine days citing lack of security. The joint burned down after six weeks. I was in the
crowd watching as Bob stood out front sobbing: "I just got it open". It was later determined to be arson
I got to know Bob when I made a display of chips for his Million Dollar Dairy Freeze down the street.
He paid me with a couple of his $10,000 chips. I remember the scam when the guy jumped of the
hotel tower. Bob charged him a 90 per cent landing fee! I remember when forms burned on the
tower construction. People called the Roman candle-it was quite a spectacle and was also determined
to be arson. Stupak was a real character at a time when Vegas was really fun. I miss the good old days.
