Imported, of course. A very distant relative of the string bean! Eventually your lawn will be covered with pods and if you don't pick them all up, you'll end up with a whole grove of orchid trees. Not quite as pesky as our black locust trees which propagate by sending out long roots that suddenly sprout into new thorn-covered trees. Have those on my Hanford property. Awful!!!
