The problem for me is not the question of there being a rare one but are all of the ones other than the outer two actually silver? If not then the roll is worth $30 not $182.
If this was someone with less reputation, more negatives and a hyped up promise, I'd be right with you on that immediate doubt. Although he doesn't make any extreme claims, you are correct. We don't know and there's no guarantee.
My view is, these are worth melt at best, and I've seen Kennedy Halves that are so worn and nicked, that people wondered why they had the different surface look. The best answer was, played in machines, over and over. What I mean is, even if there's some higher value date in there, it's not likely to be in any collector condition.
With that, $200 delivered would be a high bid?
