A long time ago I phoned a every well-known elks (in general) collector asking if he had any C&S chips and, during our conversation I began rattling off the cities where some of the clubs were located and I was asked if I was assuming or knew for a fact. My response in a congenial manner was; "throw some numbers at me."

Not only was that person shocked that there was an index (T.A.M.S.) of the clubs... about six or seven other collectors who later phoned me had no idea, either.

Then, I think it was the president of a club who called me and asked; "I understand you have a list of lodge numbers and their locations?" Faxed him the list and received a few chips a week later from a few folks in the group... I remember faxing a few of them some applications to join our club, also... Amazing that a huge, organized group of collectors had no idea (at the time) from which cities a lot of their collectibles came from.
