So cheap that it's said the people could eat a good steak for breakfast, followed by more for lunch and dinner. Without cooling, they couldn't send any abroad. The meat would arrive MUY STINKIOSO. Some clever person came up with a refrigeration system for a boat and, voila - fresh meat for the world. Argentina became a great port city and that may be why all the the anchors.
