Does anyone from Brasil, or who collects Brasil, know why one denomination of some sets have CLUB engraved on one side, only?

I am only assuming this is from Brasil, because I know of only two very old sets where only one denomination has CLUB on the obverse. This plaque has CLUB on both sides. I am also pretty sure that both of the other CLUB plaques I mention were the highest denomination in the set.
