If you know the "secret handshake" to get more chips. There is collector demand for them, I divided up just about all I got to some "regulars" on my list. Demand is already exceeding this supply. The two to try for are: $2.50 pink snappers - they have them on the tables but, as usual with $2.50 chips - the dealers and pit bosses don't want to see too many go walking out the casino door. Also, the surprise $5 Grand Opening chip - mixed in with the house chips, in a ratio of maybe 1 GO to 20 house chips. As with most casinos - and I cannot blame them at all - the dealers don't have the time to go searching for the few that they might have on the table - pit bosses don't like seeing them doing that - especially with card players wantin' to bet some more.
I figured it was a "soft opening" to start cash flow - didn't look like a lot of people knew about it. I may have been one of their few "long-distance" visitors. Oh, I fed a few of the slot machines, too. They were hungry.
I think the Cultural Museum would be the construction project just west of the A. G. Palm Springs/Spa casino? Between that and Indian Canyon Drive? They are still busily at work on it.
