The point isn't to say whether the sellers are reputable. It's about chain-of-custody of these chips. I don't know how anyone can state these chips are literally from the casino floor without some sort of evidence that they were indeed recovered by a certain person at a certain time, stored somewhere and then sold or distributed elsewhere. We have nothing to go on there, not even a proposed rumor. The idea that these chips were salvaged from the hot cinders of a suspected arson crime scene following a devastating inferno is fantastically implausible.
