in the Roman alphabet, C and c pretty much look alike. Especially when squished into a little circle. And I don't know the effect of using "the wrong C" in a copyright notice, as the statue implies that ANY copyright claim (even the abbreviation Copr.) suffices to put the public on notice. So y'all better not be copying my song lyrics or literary efforts and passing them off as your own! (Yes, I hold a few copyrights, for whatever value they may have.)
