On my HP Laser Printer, one of the options is to Save as PDF (rather than actually print a document). It works from any display that can be printed, including a webpage from my browser, etc.

In my HP printer box, the PDF options are in a drop-down box in the lower left corner, though may be set up differently in yours.

Is that a solution?
