Just arrived in the state, going to the Nevada Dept. of Motor Vehicles (or whatever it's called) next - or I stop there first and ask for a new driver's license & show the forms for that. Did you know that many Californian vehicles are ALREADY registered in Nevada? It's the fees - much cheaper in Nevada and the insurance rates are lower, too, and so what if people "occasionally" drive out of Nevada and end up in California "on business trips" or "vacation." ("I musta made the wrong turn at Pahrump again. Ya mean this big ol' city here is Los Angeles and not Laughlin? My-oh-my.")
