~~~ the UV markings was a German National, by the name of Reginald kelpie.

I used to send him rare Las Vegas dice in return for rare chips from Germany... and one night when he was examining his dice with a black light, he passed the light over some chips and notice the markings. In his next mailing of chips to me he informed me of the discovery... and in my return mailing of dice I suggested that he write an article in our club magazine; which he did, and that is how the hobby became aware of the otherwise unknown and unreported markings... Something that the manufacturer could have easilly informed us of if they wanted to...!
