Not as bad, but in college, my phone was near a pizza joint number. Most of the time I just told them, but if the guy was a dick, I'd take the order and hang up. Expanded exchanges, 352 was the normal in my area, in the 70s, they opened 353 and I got a bunch of calls for Barbara Fox, which was easy for me to say, her number is 353... and be helpful.
Local high school: (414) 351-7554 but I'd get calls on my office line 351-1775, I never did figure that one out?
We both voted last week, I still get fire starter every day in the mail. "Trump will cut your social security" and Trump will "save your social security". Biden will "cut your social security" but Biden will tax the rich to pay for your social security." Obviously, all of these are not possible and true. Spin makes them all true?
Get out and vote. I'll make a suggestion, that people shouldn't support the Socialists and the Marxists, but free choice is a wonderful thing, so no matter what, exercise your right.
I really enjoyed voting a week early and Valerie has a chemo treatment today, she might not be in the mood to be out standing in line, in the cold, in Wisconsin. My job right now, and until January, is pretty much being her personal driver. ;-)
Oh back to spam calls. If they aren't in my address book, I don't see a name, I don't answer. If it's important people can leave a voice mail. I can call back and I can add them for the future. If one of the candidates promised an end to auto-dialing and fake marketing calls, and could actually prove they can do that, we wouldn't have a decision, we'd have a landslide!
