I don't know if they are worse or not but Cindy just had to send her laptop to CA for repairs via Fedex and it took about a week to get there then another week to get back. Now this was not sent by any express mail just a regular parcel service. I don't know what happened to the usual 3-4 day delivery time but it appears to have gone the way of the dodo.
