Burt, one of the attorneys I work for, told me that back in the early 1950's, he and a friend visited Las Vegas. And the friend saw a For Sale sign for acreage on Paradise Road, and told Burt, "We oughta buy that!" Burt replied, "Are you crazy? It's off the Strip and in the middle of the desert. No way!"

And that's why Burt is still handling personal injury cases and car-damage claims at age 88, instead of lounging by the pool at "Burt's Suites" (probably now Siegel Suites) with two young blondes on either arm! In this Alternate World, the remainder of the acreage would most likely have become "Burt's Casino - Every Guest A Loser." Ka-ching!!! It's fun to dream.
