Plaques and oversize chips are used on big Bac because the drop, hold, and commission must be tracked to the penny. It's a very close game that can be cheated. They do not want bac chips intermingle with regular house chips. If a player uses them at crap, BJ's, wheel, etc. most houses require the floor to do a table credit.
