In 1961 before I began collecting chips, I went with my wife to a Sioux Falls, S. Dak. antique show; I drifted along; then came upon a dealer with a show case and in it I saw a white poker chip with a steam engine engraved on it. I thought about buying it but he wanted $5 and we had little money in those days so I passed. Years later (1974) I began collecting chips starting with design clays (through the Antique Trader weekly I met Dale Seymour and was hooked). I remembered the rr chip and wanted to find one but inb1019 when I finally ended my collecting I had no choo choo train. Sadly, I never found the one that could have started my collection and what would have been the gem of my antique chips, was a missing link at the end.
