This was in the Review-Journal a couple of days ago: Adrenaline Mountain. Somewhere near Jean / Goodsprings. Machine guns and other fun toys, Heavy earth moving equipment. Stuff like that. Sounds like you need a barrel of cash to play though. And most gun ranges in town have machine guns for rent, probably for less, but still $$$.

Forget the exact name, but ?Speed Vegas? On the way to the 7 magic mountains, on south Las Vegas Blvd. A bit pricy, but you can get a good look at a lot of high end dream cars, even from just the parking lot.

Rachel NV if you want to do the whole 3 hour drive each way. "back gates" to "Area 51" not far away down a couple of dirt roads. Nice photo op, but they are serious about no trespassing! Good food if the diner, Little A'Le Inn, is open (Used to close around 7pm). Alien Museum (gift store) on the ET Highway. NO gas. Gas up in Alamo (+-50 mi from Rachel) and watch your gas gauge if driving around a bit when you get there. If staying into the evening, great Dark Sky stargazing a bit out of "town". There is a turn off where you can park at the Lincoln / Nye county line on the ET highway that's good for stargazing.
