I'm not sure exactly which molds you are referring to, as Eisenstadt, Herz and Borland, all used different numbering systems to refer to the same mold.
According to Howard Herz, Code & Co were the first owners of the Diamond & Squares (DiaSqr) mold. As far as I know it was acquired by Burt from them in the late 1940s or early 1950s.
If you referring to Borland's mold #33, Diamond, Square, Square (DiSqSq), I don't know whether Code used it, but it was as far as I know an open mold that was used by several distributors.
I too have been trying to research the history of who used which mold when.
