GUEST AUTHORS OF HARVEST STORIES AND THEIR ADVENTURES

A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO I STARTED ASKING GUEST AUTHORS TO SUBMIT HIS/HER’S HARVEST STORIES. (WHEN I WAS STILL DOING THE POD – PAGE OF THE DAY)
AT THIS WRITING I HAVE 60+ STORIES TO SHARE. I AM HOPING THAT A FEW MORE AUTHORS WILL STEP UP TO THE PLATE, AND THESE VERY PROLIFIC “CHIPPERS” WILL COME UP WITH A FEW MORE. I WILL CONTINUE TO RE RUN THESE STORIES THROUGH THE COMING YEAR.
THESE STORIES ARE ALWAYS INFORMATIVE AND USUALLY HAVE A BIT OF TONGUE AND CHEEK HUMOR.
IT IS ALWAYS FUN TO SHARE WITH OTHERS, DIFFERENT WAYS OF HARVESTING, THE TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS THAT WE HAVE FACED OUT THERE WHILE WE WERE HARVESTING.
I ALSO ASK CB POSTERS FOR PERMISSION TO RE RUN THEIR STORIES IF THEY POST IT ON CHIPBOARD.

TESUQUE CASINO – SANTA FE, NM

STEVE GOBLE

Tesuque Casino
The Tesuque's were very good to me. $10 free slot play. Ran it up to $10 in cash on a Vid Pkr machine yet again. Only 2 tables open in the pit, 1 BJ and one Roulette. I'm not much on Roulette since the 10 cent table at the Nevada Palace closed. BJ was a $15 minimum. Yikes! In order to get enough chips I bought in for $100, I've never done that in my life. Single Deck BJ game, kinda a rare bird to find. The dealer had this habit of busting their hand , so I played a few hands. I actually hit a couple of the sucker side bets. Walked from the table with $75 cash in addition to the too many chips I kept.
Nice enough new casino. Lovely wall of windows looking out to the desert. Maybe the Las Vegas Casinos will catch on to the idea of putting a few windows in their new casinos. We do still gamble...
Silly enough, I liked the pattern and colors in Tesuque's carpet, kinda said painted desert to me. Or my mind is just going from too many casinos and too many days on the road. [Note: in the stacked chip scans, they are not warped, my had moved holding them during scanning.]
