I have to respectfully disagree.

After a summer where we witnessed so much police violence, and having a president that basically condones it, I thought it was *refreshing* to see players, coaches and announcers actually show their support for UNITY and to add their voices to the ongoing struggle for peace and equality. Equality means equality for *everyone* not just us white men. The NFL's stars are largely Black athletes, and as such, police violence impacts them and their communities more directly than others. We don't have to understand it, but I think it's important that we support them. We should be able to do that without offending half of the country, but that's kind of where we are at unfortunately.

And yes, the Chiefs offense is incredible! (I say this as a heartbroken 49ers fan)
