coming in a few weeks...…

I started collecting manufacturers samples just over 15 years ago (NO, I AM NOT SELLING MY COLLECTION )
At first it was easy to keep track of what I had when picking up new items. I never catalogued anything other than the more expensive ones (and didn't even do that very well) so about 10 years ago I just started throwing everything I acquired (except dupes) into the cupboard.
Well guess what, the cupboard ran out of room and I just about managed to find some time to start sorting them. Looks like I have an incredible number of duplicates, between 1000 and 2000. Mostly the 'cheaper' ones but I have spotted some better.
Then I have two more things to add to that.
Gene Trimble's collection contained maybe 1000 samples that were never in his original catalogued stuff, so they've sat in the cupboard for 2 years also.
And, Mike Richter's collection from 3 years ago contained about another 1000 that I never sorted.
So in total I'm likely to have 3000-4000 items to sell, with minimal duplication. I've never scanned any of these (nor therefore shown them to any of my sample collectors).
