Jay, you solved the Mystery of the Myssing $100

Artichoke Joe's chips!! For I went to the cardroom in August of 2017, expecting that the $100 chips would happily show Joe on his business' centennial. And instead, all I got was . . . sourdough bread and chowder! The backup or replacement chip, it now appears!

Apparently the Centennial $100 chips were on the tables in 2016 (casino founded in 1916) and had a very short run. Never saw any (real or fake) on the tables or offered for sale.

Bonus find: the obituary of Dennis Sammut, he of the DENNIS chips, earlier this year:
