Some patrons at Artichoke Joe’s took a well used $100 chip to China and had it reproduced. It was a Chipco that the edges were turning white already. Artichoke Joe’s ended up getting rid of the entire batch of $100’s and introduced the back up chip. (Not sure which chip is their back up)

The bottom chip is actually authentic and the top was the counterfeit
Also the edge rim was missing the marking (I believe $100). It was solid purple
