Update on Caribe Hilton Chips

I posted yesterday about recent bulk sales of Caribe Hilton ceramic chips on the Poker Chip Forum. Images were shown of 3 auctions, each for 900 of these chips in new condition.
The denominations (quantities) are:
Lot #1 - 25c (100), $1 (200), $5 (400), $25 (100), $100 (80), $500 (20)
Lot #2 - $25 (240), $100 (240), $500 (120), $1000 (200), $5000 (100)
Lot #3 - $25 (240), $100 (240), $500 (120), $1000 (200), $5000 (100)
There were additional lots with samples of one each of the chips and also a dealer button.

Here is what is known:
About 2 weeks ago, 2700+ never used Caribe Hilton ceramic chips were offered for sale on the Poker Chip Forum.
The chips are similar to known chips from the casino, except that the words "Puerto Rico" are all on the genuine chips, except for the $5.
The 25c and $5000 chips that were recently offered for sale were not previously known.
The casino closed in 1999, so these chips are at least 20 years old.
There were also oversized dealer buttons sold that were not previously known. Did the Caribe Hilton have a poker room? Were dealer buttons in use in 1999 when the casino closed?
Several of the same chips, 25c, $25 (2 different), $100 (2 different), $500, $1000 and $5000 - are currently for sale on eBay.
The eBay seller claims the chips are genuine and that were obtained directly from the casino.
I have no reason to doubt the seller other than the eBay auctions for these old chips in new condition showed up right after the chips were for sale on the Poker Chip Forum.
Also note that 24 sticks (5 dice per stick) of dice from the Caribe Hilton were also recently sold on the Poker Chip Forum and the same eBay seller is also selling them.

Here is what is not known:
Are the chips that were sold on the Poker Chip Forum genuine or recently manufactured?
Why are there 2 different versions of the chips, with and without "Puerto Rico", except for the $5?
Why are all the recently sold chips in new condition?
How is it that two previously unknown denominations appeared - 25c and $5000?
Is it just circumstance that 20+ year old chips appeared for the first time on the Poker Chip Forum and then 2 weeks later on eBay?
Also coincidence about the dice?
Were dealer buttons in use in 1999 when the casino closed?

I guess that there is some plausible explanation that these are real chips.
I am waiting to hear back from the Poker Chip Forum seller about the origin of the chips.
