I would never advise voting twice (it is definitely a crime) - but I would be curious to run an experiment in which two or more applications for absentee ballots are returned to see if the clerk catches the duplication. That would help me understand whether sending multiple applications is part of a scheme that can lead to fraud, or merely a computer/mailing glitch that will be caught before damage can be done.
