I think you miss the point on the chip guide: the books have one image of one chip in that series and the on line guide has all the chip pictured so you can be assured of the chip being what you think ( or are told it is) fake, real or a gem that's found for the first time.

I agree if you feel that strong about this join in at a high level, this hobby needs passion
