And it's not just chips, same goes for slot cards
In Response To: Top ChipGuide Contributors ()

Years ago the only references for slot card collectors were a handful of specialized slot card guides or books plus the Slot Card Guide from Steve Wells and Pat Lamb. The major problem was the lack of pictures with no feasible way to include them which ultimately resulted in the use of limited text descriptions. A few years after I took over publication of the Slot Card Guide I was asked to organize the slot card information on the ChipGuide. I started linking the entries in the Slot Card Guide with the scans on the ChipGuide as we began to populate the site with scans. Once everything was completed we started getting more and more slot card submissions as people were able to actually see what the cards looked like and discovered cards they had in their collections that were not really listed in the guides. Now there are more and more people submitting scans and the guides are growing faster than ever. Plus there are more and more people collecting slot cards again! For what it's worth, we probably have scans for well over 90% of all the slot cards known and documented worldwide.

My thanks to everyone who has helped over the years.
