I think eBay/PayPal asks that to happen before they can issue a refund. It's possible that your item is arriving on the Slow Boat From China (OK, Philippines). That could indeed take several months - longer if the Port is closed. (L.A. closed its port a couple of months ago, freighters were just bobbing about out in the Pacific Ocean. Hope they weren't carrying bananas.)
