I know many members include a blurb at the bottom of their listings, letting people know they are members of CCA and include their membership number. What I don't usually see is a prominent club logo, nor a direct call or incentive for the potential buyer to join the club. And because it's almost always at the bottom, it goes largely ignored. My suggestion: Members should put club information at the start of their item description (not the listing header, but the longer description). People who want details of the item you're selling WILL scroll down to get it, but make them at least read the club info first. Use HTML in your listings so you can embed the club logo as an image. Links are not allowed in listings, but I think URLs that are just part of an image might just pass, and we don't really care if they buy a membership on eBay or go directly to the club site and sign up there (though, as I mentioned in my earlier post, it would be nice to track exactly what brought them to us).
Anyway, sellers... if some/all of you could start doing that, it might help. A little or a lot, I have no idea.
